Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium

In order to accelerate pupils’ progress and to diminish the difference between our pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium and those that are not the funding has provided:

  • Support to deliver small group and individual lessons in order to address children's gaps in learning and accelerate progress
  • One to one and small group support in Maths and English throughout the school
  • Provision of nurture groups/counselling/social stories groups for vulnerable pupils
  • Subsidised school trips and clubs
  • Sustaining the role of the Learning support manager to develop the school’s SEND provision
  • Provision for mentoring

As a result of these interventions the difference has been diminished by the end of KS2 and our higher performing PP pupils out perform those Nationally

Free School Meals / Pupil Premium

Even though your child will receive Universal Free School Meals, it remains vitally important to register for the Governments Free School Meals (FSM) scheme, which allows the school to receive additional funding known as the Pupil Premium. This extra funding helps the school improve educational provision, support services, and learning resources for pupils.
