Collective Worship at Newtons Primary School

By Law, all maintained schools must provide religious education and daily collective worship for all students.

Collective Worship aims to promote spiritual, moral and cultural development.

It is compulsory for all schools to perform an act of collective worship daily unless students ask for an exemption. At Newtons it takes place in our daily school assemblies and classes.

Newtons encourage children to reflect upon their own beliefs while taking part and this is built on our values of GREAT.
