The Federation Ethos

Our ethos is to create a federation of schools where children succeed and are proud of their achievements. We strive to actively promote British values and prepare our children to become role models, thus preparing them for life in modern Britain. We are a federation that nurtures curiosity and creativity through and inspiring, challenging and engaging curriculum, where our pupils are at the heart of all that we do. Our children learn to become resilient and self-assured in an environment where success is celebrated.

Online Safety

At Newtons Primary School, we take online safety very seriously. We believe that it is the right of all children to feel safe and secure when using technology.

We teach children to use the internet and other technologies safely, and we show them how to behave in an appropriate manner. They know what to do if they feel uncomfortable with anything they see or hear either online or through other technology such as mobile phones.

Acceptable Use Policy

You will have been asked to fill out our acceptable use policy (AUP) at the beginning of each year. This details some of the ways in which we encourage children to behave, and outlines our rules for safe use of technology. We also ask your permission for the use of photos and video on the website and in other places. You can download both of these documents from the link below.
